A woman wearing a burqa was caught on camera while hurling a petrol bomb at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore on Tuesday evening.
The security camera recorded the burqa-clad woman carrying a petrol bomb and stopping in the middle of the road to light the petrol bomb and hurls it towards the CRPF camp.
The people walking on the road along with the woman can be seen running away. The local police launched a manhunt and according to IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, the woman has been identified and she will be arrested soon.
“The woman who hurled a bomb at the CRPF bunker in Sopore yesterday has been identified. She will be arrested soon.”

The bomb was however diffused by the security personnel who immediately came out of the bunker and extinguished the fire with a lot of water.
Reportedly, no casualties were reported due to the shocking incident, however, one CRPF personnel and a police officer were reported injured. The area has been cordoned off.
This was the second incident of hurling a grenade at CRPF camp in Jammu and Kashmir valley in the last 10 days. A jawan got injured earlier in March, when terrorists attacked the Babapora camp of CRPF with a grenade. Three terrorists were arrested by the police.
